We will work with the Arduino Board (http://www.arduino.cc) to get an introduction to the world of sensors and actuators. Generally sensors can be used to measure certain physical or chemical properties of our environment. With the help of the Arduino Board this data can be translated into the behaviour of connected actuators (light emitting diodes, servo motors, speakers etc.). Prepared hardware KITs according to code examples will be used to develop first experiments with the material. As a result simple reactive objects will be designed and build as first prototypes.

The number of participants is limited to 10 students, group work is preferred. Held in English on demand

Here you find a detailed introduction to the board and the hardware KITs, according to code examples. Therefore programming skills are not needed when participating in the seminar.
