Actuators Hardware KIT
The Hardware KIT includes the following actuators:
1 x RC Servo Motor
1 x DC-Motor
1 x Stepper Motor
1 x Vibration Motor
1 x Speaker
1 x LED red
1 x LED green
1 x LED blue
To get an idea how to use the actuators have a look on the “Tutorials” section.
RC Servo Motor

RC servos are composed of an electric motor mechanically linked to a potentiometer. Pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals sent to the servo are translated into position commands by electronics inside the servo. When the servo is commanded to rotate, the motor is powered until the potentiometer reaches the value corresponding to the commanded position. Our servos can be controlled between 0 and 180 degree.
DC Motor

The DC motor generates torque directly from DC power supplied to the motor by using internal commutation, stationary permanent magnets, and rotating electrical magnets.

Stepper Motor

A stepper motor is a brushless, synchronous electric motor that can divide a full rotation into a large number of steps. Our stepper motor is a bipolar motor.

Vibration Motor

A small DC motor with an unbalanced balast that enables to create vibrations. This kind of motor is also used in cellphones.
Speaker

A common speaker that can be used as an acoustic actuator.
